The field crews are currently in your area to collect pole information that will be used to determine the feasibility of installing fiber optic cable to provide Internet Service. We appreciate you allowing us to get the information we need.
The first step to deploying fiber broadband is low-level design for the fiber network, which transforms the preliminary design used for budget estimates and grant applications into a constructible network design. A critical step when creating a low-level design is the process of fielding, where engineers collect data about current utility pole conditions in the field to inform subsequent engineering and analysis. Design and fielding typically take 3-6 months to complete.
